Secret Garden

When I moved into my apartment last month, one of the things I was looking forward to was having a bit of the garden in the back for some grilling or just lounging around. The caveat was that, due to construction next door it's not going to be ready until later in the summer.

Work has been done, however, and they've finally built up some walls and put down some cement. They also left me enough dirt in one corridor to put in some plantings. Some pictures:









It's actually a bigger area than I had expected. Besides a grill, I could actually put in a couple of chairs, maybe even an umbrella if I felt particularly decadent.
